Yuhuang Temple Village, Zhangshanying Township is named after the temple. Historical records show that in 1432 A.D. a temple was constructed here. Later, a village was formed near the temple and named after it. The long history has given a tranquil and cozy flavor to the small village at the foot of Yudu Mountain.

The village is not very big, composed of only 172 people living in 85 families. At the entrance, four reddish brown columns formed two doors facing exactly the main street in the village. On the two sides of the main street are bunches of red lanterns. The redness symbolizing fervency presents the outline of the long street and extends all the way towards the foot of Yudu Mountain. On the street walls are paintings about persons and views as well as poems of the beautiful scenery around here written by men of letters who have visited this place. These writings and drawings have deepened the cultural connotations of the small village.
